CREATION

nothing that i know ;  nothing i have seen here.

nothing to be surprised ; nothing to be said here.

i am sick of apologizing for disappearing like a crack pot!
what ? its not my fault! blame it on my ever so adventurous PAPA :)
Narr, i am kidding. Its his job that takes us to places; he is an IFS after all and shit happens :)

SO where have i been Hmmmmmmmm.....

drinking this-

    eating that -

    enjoying this-

  and  celebrating that -

Ohhh, and lastly kissing this ball of human flesh!

a little bit here and a little bit there. had a wedding to attend and a little cousin to fall in love with; so basically ALL OVER THE PLACE.

the perks of attending a wedding- you get to be a part of the rush! and how fantastic is that? from stealing the grooms shoes to the roses showered on him, we, the unmarried girls, get to be at the forefront of all the ceremonies :) ah, yes, everything, from the Mehendi ceremony ( the day when henna is applied on the brides hand and feet )
yes, to all my oversees friends, this is also a very elaborate ceremony where there is a dance routine ( Oh yes, we choreograph it also. its all very synchronized )by all the members of the family while the bride gets her hands and feet decorated with the blackish mixture which, after drying, gives a maroon colour on the skin! ( it is said - the darker the colour of the henna the more her to-be-husband loves her! yes, yes, its a myth and its a very popular saying FYI )

oh, its so crazy!!! people running here and there; people shouting at the top of their lungs; kids running at full speed and pushing aunties to give them way; young lads busy with music and laptops and sound systems thats needed for the function; people eating and rehearsing their steps; men trying to peep what are the ladies up to; young girls like us racing to be in line for some henna ( not only bride but all ladies decorate their hands with henna )....aaah and this is just one ceremony :)
and here is just one teaser picture :P and look at all their hands - its red/orange-ish thanks to the henna.

pictures will be up very soon though they are nothing really great as in the middle of having fun no one really felt like going snap-snap and its annoying to carry the camera all the time when there is so much work to do!

AND moreover when YOU are carrying the camera, you are seldom there IN the picture! lol! but i take no offence in it and all is well. i am very camera shy as you all know!

Ahh.. till then enjoy this -

ROSIE!

  4. Hi Rosie and thanks for your comment :)
Greece or Hellas (=the land of sun) is truly an amazing place.
Dont get me wrong because I'm Greek but that the truth..
I've travelled around the world and I've never seen a place like that.I may be staying in the UK but my heart will always be back in Greece-to me its like heaven.

The sea was sapphire coloured, and the sky
    Burned like a heated opal through the air;
We hoisted sail; the wind was blowing fair
For the blue lands that to the eastward lie.

I'm pretty sure you will have great time over there. ;-)
